Garrecht VT-01 remote unit Mode-S transponder class-II.

The VT-01 remote unit with an operational range up to 15.000ft and 170kt is a standard transponder for all applications in general aviation from ultralight aircraft to gliders and piston engine aircraft.
It offers the classical A/C modes of operation plus full Mode S support including the future-oriented extended squitter function.

Technical:
-Built-in high-precision, temperature compensated altitude encoder to connect to the static port.
-ETSO certified.
-The hardware of the VT-01 is designed to deliver precise position data (extended squitter) for ADS-B.
-Direct-GPS NMEA Interface for ADS-B out (non-certified).
-CAN-Bus Interface for future applications (i.e. TIS).
-Type Mode-S Transponder class-II Level 2els.

Delivery is including the EASA Form-I document, but without connector/cables.
The VT-01 Remote unit can be remotely controlled using the ACD-57 or the VT-01 control head [VT-0101].
The VT-01 remote unit is normally installed using the VT-01 Mounting-Rack [VT-0103-1]
