The new TT23 series is the next generation of Trig’s compact Transponder line.
This new design features a smaller and lighter transceiver than its predecessors, while still boasting a nominal power output of 250 watts.
The TT23G is a two part transponder system, which includes an integrated altitude encoder. The TT23G is a Class 1 transponder. This means that you can use a TT23G if your plane is capable of flying above 15,000 feet or faster than 175 knots, VFR or IFR.
It comes in two versions:
TT23G: The TT23G has a built-in GPS receiver - the ideal choice for pilots seeking an integrated ADS-B Out solution. It is a perfect solution for enhancing conspicuity and safety.
TT23: The TT23 can also be used as an ADS-B out solution when connected to a compatible external GPS. For those that do not intend to equip with ADS-B out, the TT23 model is a high- quality, modern transponder with easy configuration options that make it suitable for a broad range of GA applications.
The TT23G includes:
1x TC20 Transponder Controller [00649-00]
1x TT23G Mode S Transponder [02296-00-01]
1x Complete installation kit (incl. manuals)[02644-00]

Additional items you will require, but which are not in the TT23G package, include:
- Antenna and fixing hardware. The TT23G is compatible with any transponder antenna approved to ETSO C74 or 2C112 or equivalent.
- Cables. You need to supply and fabricate all required cables.
- Fixings. To secure the transponder tray to the airframe you will need at least 3 flat head screws and three self-locking nuts. If the aircraft does not have existing mounting provisions you may need to fabricate additional brackets to support the transponder tray.
The TT23G can be mounted in a standard 57 mm (2¼ inch) instrument hole, or where space is really tight, in a compact mounting just 42 mm high.
-Even lower Weight - less than 400 grams!
-Minimal Panel Space
-Low Power Consumption
-250 Watts Nominal Output
-Integrated Altitude Encoder
-Simple Installation
-Support for 1090ES ADS-B Out
The TT23 is TSO approved for fitting to European and FAA registered aircraft.
The perfect partner to TY91 and TY92 VHF radios.
